Popiah is the name for spring roll called by Xiamen natives. Popiah is made as follows: slice and shred cabbages, winter bamboo shoots, carrots, haricots and streaky pork; then mix together with shelled shrimp and oyster; add the mixture into the wok to cook until they are done; lay out one prepared popiah skin and sprinkle some mashed peanut candy on it, and then add the mixture and season with chili sauces; and finally fold in the sides and roll into a parcel, thus a delicious popiah is ready for you.
